for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

Done in memory of Squire Styrkar (pictured),
Master Olafr, Sir Gerhard and too many others…

Goal: To Honor those affected by Blood Borne (and other) Cancers, Raise
Funds for Research & Increase the Prestige of the SCA.

When: After the War Scenarios on Saturday.

Where: War Field

How the Tourney works: Fighters/Populace
“Buy-a-Life” for $5.00 each. No Limits.
Ribbons are given to fighters, one for each Life. Everyone lines up in one
big line. ("Atlantian Speed Tourney" style. Thank you Atlantia:-) The two
ends are brought together, pairings are made, and fights are fought. The
Victor gets one of the Vanquished's ribbons.

Continue for an hour or until a cadre of Winners remain. Single
elimination tourney of those with the most ribbons. (No more ribbon
exchange) The Champions of the day are declared (one for most ribbons
bought, one for most fights won).

Commemorative Photographs taken and sent to the LLS for publicity.

Totals raised are announced.
