To check on the status of your award scroll,
find your name in the Scrolls list
- If you or your award is not listed, keep in mind that only certain awards are eligible to
receive scrolls from the West Kingdom or the Principalities. And tracking of an award only
begins when it is official - in the online Awards List maintained by the College of Heralds.
- Your scroll may be in Pending Registration status. This means your name and
device are not yet registered with the College of Heralds, and it is not yet eligible to be assigned to a scribe.
- Restricted status may mean you have been inactive or have moved outside the kingdom. Assignments are not routinely made for recipients who may be hard to locate when their scrolls are ready to deliver to them. These scrolls are still eligible to be assigned, but the scribe may be asked to provide contact information for the recipient or even take responsibility for delivering the scroll.
- You may also contact the College to place your scroll in Waived status. Due to the size of the backlog, many people have never received a scroll, although they may have received numerous awards. If you have already received one or more scrolls, you may wish to waive any others that are not as important to you, to enable scribes to concentrate on those still waiting.
- If your scroll is in Legacy status, it means your name and
device are not registered with the College of Heralds, and you have been on the inactive list for some time. The scroll is not eligible to be assigned to a scribe. The difference between Legacy and Pending is that the latter are expected to become available for assignment as soon as the registration process is complete, while the former are expected to remain ineligible.
- Scrolls with Incomplete Award Information are not eligible to be assigned to a scribe. If the missing information is supplied to the College of Heralds and verified, the Awards List will be updated and the scroll will then become eligible, provided there are not other hinderances (such as the recipient's name not being registered).
- Duplicate awards do not receive a scroll.
- Undelivered scrolls have been completed by the scribe and returned to the responsible Signet. They may be in the process of being signed and sealed, or the Signet may not be able to locate the recipient for delivery.
