Rapier Scenarios:
West/AnTir war Scenarios
-------->Friday
9am - Armor inspection
Field setup - Voluteers greatly appreciated!
11:30 - Lunch
Noon - Armor inspection continues
1pm - 3 Fighter Melee Challenge
- A Series of scenarios ending in an elimination Tourney
3pm - Native forces Open Field battle
- Allies determined on the field for balance. Fought 2 or 3 times based on fun
factor.
3:30pm(ish) - Bear pits will start after Native forces is done.
----->Saturday
9am Armor inspection opens
10am Warmup Mixer
- pair off FFA melee, no rez.
10:45am - Marshal Briefing.
11am Castle Assault (Castle Area)
- Defenders get no rez's. Attackers will get 1 or more rez's each person based
on balance of forces. This battle will be fought at least once from each direction.
Possibly a second time with RBG's.
12am 30 minute Lunch break
- Next scenario may be joined in progress for those taking longer lunches.
12:30am - Messenger Game
- A no team melee with unlimited Rez's at a central rez point. At each end of
the area are two piles with both Messages(White) and Replies(Blue) in each pile.
Fighters start at the rez point and may go to either pile and pick up a Message,
but to get a Reply they must travel across the field and deliver it to the other
pile. To win and end the scenario for everyone they must then return with the
Reply and drop it on the pile they got the message from. Any valid wound - leg,
hand, etc while carrying either object counts as a kill. They may be carried in
either hand with or without a weapon, but may not be folded or otherwise hidden.
1:30pm - Captain defense(Bridge Area)(RBG's)
- Each side's captain begins in an opposing location and the first side to kill
the opposing captain wins. This scenario will be fought at least once from each
direction with RBG's(captains bullet proof). Possibly a second time without
RBG's.
3:00pm - Open field(possibly in Castle) limited Rez battle
- Each side has a rez point and each fighter will get 3 resurections for a
total of 4 lives. This fight is scheduled for a single go unless it goes very
quickly in which case it will be best 2 of 3.
4:00 - 1 Hour break/Pick-ups invited as long as fighters and marshals are
present.
5:00pm - Blood of Heroes to be determined.
- If we have teams willing to play we will get it going at this time.
------->Sunday
8am - Armor Inspection opens
9am - Sunday 3 fighter Mixer(Castle)
- Fighters line up at the Castle and are sent in teams of three. As folks die
they hop back in line.
10am - Rabid Bear Pit
- Bear pit, wounds retained with increasing numbers of fighters until the bear
dies. All "new Bears" face a single opponent in the next fight regardless of
how many were in the last. Each Time a Bear wins the number of opponents coming
in for the next fight increases by one and they are all restricted to single
sword. The Rabid bear can have any weapons. When the Bear does die all other
fighters are immedeately engaged and the one last standing becomes the new Bear.
If it is a double kill at the end two new fighters come in Single sword to see
who is the next bear and repeat the cycle.
Noon - Lunch/pickups if fighters and marshals are available.
-------> Rapier War rules
#1 Don't be stupid - really
#2 Legging - butt down or take it as a death - 2 people each with a free hand to
move.
#3 All RBG's must be Marshal inspected and test fired on the owner prior to use.
#4 DFB will be demonstrated - if you miss the demo ask - DFB violations will get
a minimum of sitting out the fight.
